6th Biosecurity Day - Tuesday January 30, 2018 - Importance of Biosecurity in Crisis Management : in collaboration with the Department of Occupational Safety and Hygiene (SUPHT), the Biosecurity Unit (CFB) organises its 6th Biosecurity day next Tuesday January 30, 2018.
 
Presentations and workshops will be in English, as we'll have the honor to welcome international speakers who are leading experts in their domain. They will share their experience in terms of crisis management. The main sectors will be targeted:
  • African horse sickness - Prof. Alan GUTHRIE (Equine Research Center, University of Pretoria, South Africa)
  • Avian chlamydiosis - Prof. Jean-Claude VAILLANCOURT (Avian Medicine, Department of Clinical Sciences, FVM / Research group in Epidemiology of Zoonoses and Public health / Public Health Research Institute / Research Center in swine and avian infectious diseases, University of Montreal, Canada)
  • Foot-and-mouth disease - Dr Fred LANDEG (former UK Chief Veterinary Officer, DEFRA, United Kingdom)
